Tam’s Brig MOTs is a well-established business which began trading in 2002 and is located quite centrally in the Tam’s Brig area of Ayr.

We are proud to say we are one of Ayrshire’s premier MOT testing centres. We offer a fast, efficient, friendly & reliable service and are delighted to report that we find our customers returning to us year after year.

We offer MOTs to Cars, Vans, Minibuses, Motorhomes and Light Commercial Vehicles.

We have 3 qualified MOT tests to look after your cars needs swiftly and with 2 test bays we can carry out 25 MOTs daily with minimum waiting time for you.

We are fully trained and qualified in car repair and services, virtually any make or model.

Our in-house repair centre is run by an independent mechanic, JT Mechanical who has 25 years experience in servicing and diagnostics.

Our workshop has 3 vehicle lifts capable of lifting upto 5000kg and can be used for large vans and motorhomes. All work is guaranteed.

I began working as a mechanic at the age of 16 and have worked in various garages and main dealers climbing up "through the ranks" until setting up my own company, Tam's Brig MOTs.

I was first registered to perform MOTs at the age of 21 and have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience over these years.
